VOLUNTEER PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR
Louisa is a software consultant at a global tech company and Co-Director of a construction company in Sydney, Australia. She's also completing her Masters of Project Management at the University of Technology, Sydney. She has a passion for true project management because it brings together structure, creativity and collaboration with the goal to achieve something that benefits a wide-range of people.
Offering Project Management assistance to Branches Community Project seems like the perfect way to gain more experience in the things she loves, while also being able to contribute to building safe and functional spaces for communities in need. She believes that every single person has a right to a dignified and safe place to work, live, learn, and connect with the people around them, and she wants to be part of the organisation that helps to achieve this.
She values the opportunity to connect with others—whether it’s fellow volunteers, local community members, or project leaders—and to grow through shared experiences. Ultimately, Louisa wants to help build hope and opportunity, brick by brick, for those who need it most.
VOLUNTEER COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Salsabila joined our team in 2024 to help express our mission to the world. She is a creative strategist and community builder with a passion for driving social change and humanitarian initiatives. Over the past 5+ years, Salsabila has produced stories for non-profits such as Lifting Hands International and RIVET, and has worked at events like COP28 and Expo 2020.
With a B.A. in Political Science and Cinema & Media Arts from Vanderbilt University and as a first-generation Indonesian-American, Salsabila is excited to produce thoughtful and empathetic stories for Branches' audiences. Originally from Tennessee, she is currently based in the United Arab Emirates, where she lives with her husband and two cats, and spends her free time watching horror films.
VOLUNTEER PROJECT MANAGEMENT ADMINISTRATOR
Shahrzad worked with us in 2024 and is currently living in Australia but is originally from Iran.
In the past few years, she has found herself straddling two worlds: one filled with spreadsheets and strategies, where she is navigating the world of Project Management, and the other, far more superior, where the pulse of humanity beats. For the past eight years, she has been immersed in the world of Humanitarian & Development work, extending a helping hand to marginalised communities in Iran -her home country- and learning as she goes. She has gained valuable experience and knowledge through working with international NGOs working towards providing sustainable support to Refugees and Internally Displaced populations.
But when she's off-duty, you'll find her indulging in her passions—solving mysteries in crime shows, perfecting her backhand on the tennis court or improvising moves on the dance floor.
